Goldilocks in her Bed
Woke up to see that SD22 came home last night to sleep in her bed. I know that she is supposed to go party at SD27's (a COMPLETE deadbeat mom) place tonight. Makes me think that the guy she was staying with probably got tired of putting up with her rotten attitude. She's supposed to have math class at 8:30am Sat morning, which means she probably won't go.
This is the first time in a week she has actually seen her son, but it doesn't count because she didn't come home until around 2am. She'll probably be gone by the time DW brings him home. SD22 is in for a rude awakening if she thinks she is going to start spending night at our house again like nothing has happened. I know DW is gonna avoid the issue, but I'm STILL going to bring up SD22 needing to go the therapy or she needs to move out. One more week until I can legally change the locks.

Unfortunately when you let
Unfortunately when you let somebody move into your home, if they have mail coming there and have been living there a while, I have to legally give her 30 days to get her stuff out...EVEN if they're a relative. Like I've said before, reason #1 to not let stepkids move in. Tried kicking out another SD before and the cops had to get involved. We couldn't just kick her out either. That particular SD had only been living with us a few months.
The SD22 has been living with us for 18 months.
Wow, I did not know that.
Wow, I did not know that. What a bummer.
I hope this week fly's by and she doesn't show up much more.
It's a damn shame what people
It's a damn shame what people are allowed to get away with these days. These young people (and deadbeats) know the laws better than we do because they are always having to deal with the law. It's one of the reasons why I will never own a rental property. By the time you can LEGALLY evict somebody they've been living there for about 2 months rent free because you actually have to go and file paperwork. People are all about how they can "get over" these days.
I could never imagine in a million years yelling back to my parents "You have to give me 30 days" if they were trying to kick me out. Pretty sure my dad would've grabbed his pistol and asked me to repeat what I just said.
Well, 2 can play at that
Well, 2 can play at that game. If she insists you give her 30 days tell her that will be void if you call the police and tell them she assaulted you.
