Thank you for the prayers
I am very sorry for not thanking everyone earlier for your prayers. The surgery was successful and we had a scary week in the hospital. I cannot thank the doctors enough. They say that she is young enough that she will not have any permanent damage. Thank God!
And thank goodness SS had very good insurance because almost everything was covered. He was an absolute mess and still is. He has not been sleeping properly and his skin is breaking out in hives. I made turkey, sweet potatoes and pecan pie for Thanksgiving. We had dinner in the hospital and I think SS really appreciated it. My granddaughter was awake and alert as well so we had a nice time yesterday.
My granddaughter gets to go home in two weeks. Here is a issue we are having. SS has final exams in two weeks. He wants us to move in with him to help look after his daughter. He doesn't trust the regular nanny to look after her as well as she should. He would rather have me do it. He has an extra bedroom we would move in.
We, of course agreed. But that would mean I and my husband have to quit our jobs. We need to rent out our house. We have already found tenants who are interested. But we would still have 500 dollars to cover. My husband needs to find a new job in the city. He just got the second job too. That is the main problem. But we are committed to looking after Sarah. We will just hope that my husband will find something. Thank you everyone again for the prayers. I know they made a difference.

Winnie, so thrilled to hear
Winnie, so thrilled to hear your good news! And so pleased that your relationship with your SS is now so good that he trusts you with the most precious thing in his life! It's great that you both have been and continue to be there for him.
Good luck on your move - I have my fingers crossed that the right job comes along. If it is meant to be, it will all fall into place.
