How do I calm down and relax?
Ok ladies…I need some calming advice.
SS was thrust into my home over a year and a half ago. He had serious issues…stealing, lying, fighting and all kids of other stuff. He was a little over 16. We got him off the ADD and ADHD drugs and he blossomed and matured. He still has issues but NOTHING like when he was younger. I WAS NEVER supposed to be custodial, so let me tell to try and never take for granted the every other weekend schedule.
SS enters the military today. In 4 hours! He has already taken an oath about 3 months ago, but today is the day that SS gets dropped at the recruiter’s office to be taken to where ever it is that they go. I am PETRIFIED that, he will back out before he even gets in. I am afraid he will back out, after he has only been in a few weeks. I am REALLY afraid he will not pass the piss test.
UGH. He won’t actually fly out until tomorrow sometime after his physical. I am going to be on pins and needles until he is out of boot camp and that is 6-10 weeks.
How do I calm down?. I should be doing the happy dance, but I am SOOO afraid too!!

LOL. Overit! I really thought about doing something like that. I just never found the head ship!! HAHA!! I may just drink myself into a stuper for the next two months. Their little famly day at graduation, may be well worth it.
Go out and get crazy, find
Go out and get crazy, find some girlfriends-and CAB it home! And do an entry like this joke below:
"This woman was invited out the other night for some “fun with the girls.”
She told her husband she would be home by midnight. Well, the hours passed and the champagne was going down really smooth. About 3 a.m., drunk as a skunk, she headed for home.
Just as she got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hall started up and cuckooed three times. Quickly, realizing he’d probably wake up, she cuckooed another nine times. She was really proud of herself for coming up with such a quick-witted solution in order to escape a possible conflict with him.
The next morning her husband asked her what time I got in and she told him “about 12 o’clock” and he didn’t seem disturbed at all. Whew! Got away with that one! Then he said, “We need a new cuckoo clock.”
When she asked him why, he said, “Well last night our clock cuckooed three times, then said ‘oh shit,’ cuckooed four more times, cleared its throat, cuckooed another three times, giggled twice more and then tripped over the cat and farted.”
Bahahaha!!! That is
Bahahaha!!! That is hilarious!!
ROTFLMBO!!!!!!
ROTFLMBO!!!!!!
Not to worry Willow2010, they
Not to worry Willow2010, they will keep his ass there. It's getting harder and harder to get people to sign up to go into the military so the drill sargeants have their ways of making people stay. When I went in....they discovered I had a medical condition that prevented me from staying, and it still took a few months for me to come home from basic...LOL.
So if he refuses to train...they have their ways of making people stay. We had a few people like that in my class. One guy refused to train. Drill Sgt told him...."Well, eating and sleeping are in the training schedule, so I guess you won't eat." For the next two days they didn't allow him to eat, then he finally went along with the program. Also they can dock your pay for refusal to train. These days it is harder and harder to leave basic if you just decide you don't wanna be there anymore. Even if he doesn't pass the piss test...they'll probably still make him stay because it's not like he'll have access to it while he's in basic. Trust me....you should feel free to celebrate!
