Step parent survival kit? :)

If you could make a survival kit as a step parent or even for a step parent what would you include in it? I would love to see responses to this to see what people think is a necessity for step parents to survive Skids!

1) Stepmonster by Wednesday Martin
2) Materials to let kids and teens have/use who are being PASed from Dr. Warshak
3) A list of a few tips that have helped me better my relationships with the SDs.

Wine, thick skin, a rule book/road map, a good friend to listen, and to have known about this site early on......

Advanced preparation kit/Self Preservation Guide. . .i.e. bracing for the needle:

(DISCLAIMER: this is for those who are literally involved in the most impossible, industrial strength NCP SM situations with the most heinous of psycho BMs, PASed out skids and uber guilty daddies; in other words, not for the faint of heart)

1. bottle of elmer's school glue
2. one chopstick
3. one steam kettle or alternatively microwave and a custard dish
4. H2O

1: Scheduled dinner time.
2: Scheduled bath time.
3: Scheduled bed time.

These usually take up at least two hours at night! I love consistency Smile

For SM:
1: Beverage of choice!
2: Alone time with SO.

Lol wow these are some awesome comments. Too bad I don't drink...1. I am pregnant and 2. I stopped drinking about 2 years ago. I guess my survival kit has to have patience and lots of it (which I don't have)!!! Thanks for all the helpful suggestions though.
