UGH!! Had a mammogram done Monday. They just called and said I have several micro calcifications and they are suspicious so they want to do an ultra sound.

Anyone know anything about this? I looked on the internet and it just scared the crapola out of me.

Thanks a lot guys!! I feel a litte better. They made the appoinment for NEXT Wednesday. Really? lol. This will be a great week. I am usually a very good waiter...prolly not going to be this time.

Breath Willow and yeah I'd stop the research online, only scares you more.

I've also had a suspicious mamogram...more like I have very dense tissue and they needed the ultrasound. I had a lump.

Thing is I've had cysts/dysplasia since the age of 15...very painful. Did all kinds of alternative remedies...they mostly went away after I had kids....then one came back 2 yrs after my last son-hence the mammogram/usound...all came ok. Now they are back, some months worse then others but better then when I was younger.

I've also had abnormal paps twice and then everything was fine. Try not to stress out much...it's quite routine/common to follow up w/an ultrasound.
