Ok…. not to call down any negative Karma justice on my own head or anything… but this made a pretty bad *giggle-snort* escape my lips before I could call it back today.

Mother Russia’s been going round and round with doctors in two states for a few weeks over something that started out as (what she thought was) a bad chiropractic adjustment, she had blinding headaches and nausea so bad she couldn’t function. So while on a business trip on the west coast she went to the emergency room where they did an MRI because they feared the neck adjustment ruptured an artery in her neck causing the migraines… what they told her they found was a cyst in her brain, and that she’d have to have more tests when she got home. Ok.

(and before any of you think that I found ANY of this amusing… I didn’t by any stretch of the imagination! I’ve had everyone I know praying for her since we found out)

So DH calls me today… and he says, “Are you ready for this?” and I was terrified… I’ve been hoping for the best but fearing the worst, so I steeled myself. What he tells me she said was this…

MR: “Is a mess… they can’t find anything.”
DH: “What do you mean… in your head?”
MR: “Yes… nothing in my head.”
(now biting his lip so hard it’s almost bleeding)
DH: “You mean there’s no cyst..?”
MR: “Yes!!! They say there BIG hole of nothing… just blank space… they don’t know what to do.”

So DH says… “Ok then… you alright?” and he’s smacking his leg so hard he’s bruising it trying not to bust out laughing… and she says, “Yes… just have headache… taking drugs.”

Which led to a round of pretty amusing jokes from DH and I… “She’s missing the part of her brain that controls human compassion”, “Don’t pay too much attention to that remark… it just floated over the blank spot…” etc. And then the angel of “Be Nice Kids” floated in the room and we got serious and said, well thank god she’s alright.

*snicker*
Oh my gawd, what are we gonna do with her..?!?!?
And I’m only laughing now because there’s nothing wrong…
