Crazy Cat Lady

So, a lady in our neighborhood sent an email around trying to find homes for 4 precious kittens that were going to be taken to the pound today if they didn't. SD BEGGED my DH and me to get one. We said no. She also told her BM...who is taking ALL of them. One side it pisses me off because she can't pay her bills to begin with and is constantly talking about how she's a single mother and can't afford this or that (usually something for the SD--clothes, PADS/TAMPONS, school supplies, etc). So how the HELL can she take on 4 more pets that will need shots, food, flea/tick treatments, toys, and much more.

On the other side, it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside that she has literally become the crazy cat lady....this will make 8 cats and her little "rat dog" (teacup chihuahua).

Just another day of craziness....

Her house already smells like a pet store that needs to be shut down by the government. It's AWFUL. SD's clothes always smell like cigarette smoke and cat shit.

BM is so scared that her daughter wants to live with us and is trying to do whatever she can to make her house seem like a better place to be....unfortunately everything she does just backfires and makes SD want to live with us more. We don't have to do anything but sit back and watch her make a fool out of herself. Wink

The reason I mention the pads is she had made SD call her FATHER to ask for money to buy her pads at least 2x. Last time it was because BM had just paid $50 at the vet for the dog (it had been bitten by a spider). HOW MORTIFYING!!!!
She just started this year so it's all new and embarrasing for her. I always make sure her sink is fully stocked with the "good" kind as opposed to the 8lb bricks her mom buys her at the gas station.
