I just wanted to say ALOHA!!! I have been feeling really upset lately and on edge about being a stepmother. I think that a lot of these feelings stemmed from feeling that i didn't have anyone within my circle who i could share with. A lot of the feelings that i have are complicated (which i'm sure many of you can relate to), and i have been actively looking for places where i could safely open up and express myself without feeling as though i would then be looked at by others as the woman who couldn't deal with being a "stepmom." I also tend to bottle up my feelings concerning being a stepmom because i feel that it could be very hurtful to my fiance who i love very deeply. I feel that this site will offer me a lot of insight into the world of step parenting, and i look forward to hearing all of your feedback.
