HI EVERYONE! ITS BEEN AWHILE SINCE I BEEN ON HERE... WELL MY STEPSON IS 3 AND STILL ON POTTY TRAIN. I GOT HIM A POTTY SEAT. AND HE WAS DOING SO WELL. BUT THEN WHEN HE GOES BACK TO HIS MOTHER AND THE NEXT WEEKEND WE HAVE HIM. I HAVE TO START ALL OVER WITH HIM AGAIN. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY, IT GETS ME SO UPSET. AND TRUST ME I'M A VERY PATIENCE PERSON.HE IS SUCH A SMART BOY TOO,AND I WANT HIM TO GET IT TOGETHER CAUSE HE GONNA START SCHOOL AND ALL. AND THE DAYCARE HE IS GOING TO IS NOT EVEN A DAYCARE. BECAUSE NO OTHER DAYCARE WOULD EXCEPT HIM CAUSE HE NOT POTTY TRAIN. I CANT STAND THE MOTHER STUPIDY. SHE GETS ME SO MAD...WHY ISNT SHE POTTY TRAING HIM? YOU GUYS EVER FEEL THIS WAY?

My son is 2 1/2 and for a while was doing really well with the potty training, he has back slid a bit lately. Funny thing is he does better at daycare than he does at home. I really think boys are just harder to train than girls.Also he loves to use public restrooms far better than our bathroom at home.Some day....

When my BD and SS were over three and still potty training I simply told them that they could not go to preschool until they were potty trained, because school did not allow diapers. They immediately stopped going in their pants, so I found some fun classes for them to do as a reward. Don't know if that will help, but it worked for me.

@ bradybunchmom.... lol i have try that tooo.... like i said he is good when i have him, he does use the potty. but when he goes back with his bm then he totally forgets and i have to start all over....

Soon to be stepdaughters are 7 and 5 - wearing pull-ups to bed every night and they should know to get up - but mommy puts them in pull-ups and says - no big deal? uhh...whatev. Some Birthmother's should not have been allowed to have kids...
