Today is SO's day with SS9, who has no school today. SO is a veteran. He planned to take the boys to see the Veteran's Day parade along with the pre and post activities our city has. SS9 told BM all about it and suddenly she decided to take SS9 and SD19 for a weekend trip. Last night SS9 told SO on the phone that they were having so much fun they were staying an extra night. SO tried to call BM, no answer. SO texts BM and tells her that today is his day and he has plans. No answer.
He calls again this morning, no answer. About 2, SS9 calls and tells SO they stopped at an uncles but they are on their way now. BM still would not get on the phone but SS9 said he will call when he gets home. SO sends another text asking BM to call him so he will know what time to meet her at her house and so they can discuss which day of hers he gets to make up his parenting time on. SO is so pissed off and hurt. I feel really bad for him.
If it was me, I might be tempted to take a nice long drive right after our meal on Thanksgiving and not come back until late even though we are supposed to drop SS9 off at BM's house at 2 for her Thanksgiving time. But that's just me.
