Things that make you go hmmmm.
Back story….SS lies. A LOT. This is a fact that is not missed by most that meet him. It is like he HAS to be talking so he spouts out crap even if it is true or not. SS also is terrible at school. He nearly flunked out of every grade in his school career. He barely made it into the military and failed a few courses he tried to take when in the military.

He is out now and the military is paying for him to live and go to school. He took the entrance exam for a college close to him. He told DH that he got the highest score on the entrance exam out of ANY ONE who has ever taken it EVER. LOL.

I just kind of looked at my DH, when he told me that and said “wow, that is awesome” and then turned and walked quickly away before my mouth over ran my brain. (years of disengagement practice helped on this one.)

There is no way on Gods green earth that SS made the highest grade ever on a test. I know DH knows this so why would he ever repeat it? But I did notice he did not blast it on facebook like he normally would. Oh well…to each their own. I will let him live in his own little world believing that SS became a genius overnight. Or at least wanting me to believe he did.

My SS loves to do things like that, too.

This week progress reports came out at school, SS had ok grades, but got an A in gym. He wanted us to be so proud of that A in gym, as if it made up for a D in another class. Then he told me that he had done so well in math that "people were talking about me in the office." I said something like "well, as long as they were talking about you over good things, not bad things."

He also told me he got a bunch of sacks in the football game...I wasn't at the game in question, but this is the same kid who is always standing far away from the action or jogging in once the play has ended. I saw some videos DH had taken of a recent game and his style of play has not changed.

I roll my eyes so many times at SS (in my head, of course). It's so hard to like someone who brags so much, yet really has not that much to brag about.
