....but better late than never, right? A house hasn't dropped on me yet. So does that make me wicked witch of the west then? Four years ago when I got the horrible news SS14 (was 10 then) was possibly coming to live here full time I was saying every day "there's no place like home".. but I went no where. I guess having the ruby slippers might've helped? So.. here I am.. still. I knew exactly how this would end up too. A dad that didn't care back then and still doesn't. Only felt he had to bring him here because he didn't want everyone to think he was a deadbeat or horrible father if he didn't ("what a great dad!" They'd all say.) He also wanted to finally end his years of being butt raped by child support. And a tax deduction to boot! Ohhh what a lucky break! BM finally made her bed (I knew that would happen one day)..sent to the big house at least until until SS turns 18. Now I am serving the same sentence...for doing nothing! Upside? She Is A Non Issue now. No more middle of the night drunk calls. No more "you're an asshole" voicemails, over and over and over. But now....Stuck with raising her damn kid. Now the countdown begins until I am finally free. That is...If he actually leaves at 18. :O
