I'm having one of those nights tonight. Actually, DH just left to take SD10 to a choir performance, and SD12 went with him - there were only two tickets available per family - DAMN the bad luck!!!

I just got done going over SD12's spelling homework, which is assigned on Mondays and has to be studied through the week for a spelling test on Friday. A parent has to initial the paper to show that the work was finished, and that the child reviewed the spelling of each word. I'm staring at BM's initials right now!! (see below)

This is what she wrote for her spelling words:

something that is not complete is: "uncommplete"
something that is not legible is: "unlegible"
something colored that is stained is: "uncolored"
something that is not rational is: "unrational"
something that needs to be read again is: "unread"
a word that is spelled wrong is: "mispeled"
a person who is not agreeable is: "unagreeable"

This is why I drink beer.
