So, Medusa has filed with the FOC to get her child support reduced. You know, the support that she is consistently $2500 behind on, yeah THAT support. The process in my state is pretty straight forward, you fill out some forms and if the FOC Support Specialist believes that a review is warranted, they send out the financial forms for both parents to fill out. A recalculation is done and if the amount changes 10% of the current order or $50, whichever is greater, than the change is made.

Clearly, whatever Medusa told FOC was enough for them to believe that her circumstances have changed. But, as you may recall, Medusa is a slippery beast who is self-employed via her S Corp. In the past, she had a job and had them pay her corporation as opposed to her. She recently opened a resale shop in MedusaTown that she probably thinks we don't know about. If I had to guess, I think Medusa is going to say that she is no longer working at her previous job. I just called there and asked for her and was put into her voice mail. Pretty sure a company wouldn't keep a voice mailbox for an employee who no longer works there.

Because DH and I know Medusa's shenanigans well, we re-engaged Awesome Attorney, who has been hard at work crafting Interrogatories and Requests to Produce. They will be served on Medusa today, at her store, the store she thinks we don't know about.

So, if the earth starts shaking on the west side of the mitten, you know she's been served. Sorry about any possible disruption.
