OK-day one post surgery and my mouth feels like shit.

I have some more details on the hearing yesterday. AA said he just had to stand back and let her dig her own grave.

The following are some of the statements she made :

"Like everybody else in this court, you do not like women."

"Just like the judge, you are not being nice to me because I don't have an attorney."

"I emailed DH's attorney several times, and he never responded to me. What was I supposed to do?" (Side note-she emailed him exactly once, however saying she has done things repeatedly and never heard back is her favorite modus operandi)

"You have no right to speak to me that way. You don't know me at all." (side note - apparently, the referee's response was that he had the very large file, he had read the most recent pleadings, and he remembered her from the last time we were in front of him and how she was trying to get her support lowered even back then).

In the end, she was bitching and complaining. Going on and on about how she was homeless and what was she supposed to do and all that crap-but when the referee asked her for her address, or the shelter in which she was living, she told him she didn't have to give him that information.

She's living in a house with Lurch about 30 miles away from MedusaTown. Lurch's father owns the house.

I have all the proof we need and was waiting for the hearing that will now not take place. I'm sure she's going to rear her ugly head again, so I will keep preparing.

The referee told her that she was certainly welcome to appeal his decision and take it up in front of the Judge.

I have no idea what she will do-part of me feels like she will appeal it just because she can and she thinks that will cost us more money. Part of me feels like she is well aware the judge hates her probably more than this guy does and she won't roll the dice.

She did ask the referee what would happen if she didn't pay AA the $1500, to which he replied, "I suppose Mr. AA will file a motion to compel or perhaps a show cause motion. If I were you, I would not want to find out what he will do."

As they were stepping away from the bench, the referee said "oh, I almost forgot. Mr. AA, has she paid you the $1000 I ordered two weeks ago?"

AA replied that she had not. He told her that if she did not pay it in three days he would find her in contempt and request that the judge issue a bench warrant.

In hindsight, I really wish that I had been there-I always love to see her go down in flames.
