Speaking of Traditions--It's Time KRAMPUS

makes a comeback!!  Dec 5th has come and gone but considering the story of Krampus, I think it's a fantastic tradition combating the entitlement of modern day child-centric Western society!

Let's retire "elf on a shelf!"

Krampus has always been part of our family traditions.  Every year on Dec 6th my mom would leave us little trinkets in our shoes that she told us to leave outside the front door.  My Opa would scare us with stories, but we always had a trinket.

One Christmas my sister's husband told the kids "be good or Krampus will get you!" None of us had any idea what he was talking about. I googled him and have thought of him fondly ever since!
