Speaking of Getting Fired
Looks as though the HousesHitter (YSS21) has lost his job at the local branch of a global manufacturing plant.
His social media included his job title and this company for some months now and all of a sudden it was taken down with no replacement.
If true frankly I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did as he has zero work ethic.
Meanwhile, Pumpkinhead (OSS stb 28) posted a very long poem lamenting adulting!

The only upside is that everyone is looking for employees so no excuses.

Damn. When you posted before that the sHitter had a "real" job i thought maybe he was moving past his upbringing and on his way to being an independent adult.
As stepparents it's like we (ok me lol) are torn between wanting to scream "I told you so!" when skids fail, and hoping for their success.
The "I told you so", to me, is wanting validation that our observations, feelings, and efforts were correct and not just being "jealous" or "hating the skids." But the hoping for success is the logical thing, because a skidult with their own life and means of support won't be coming around wanting money, wanting to move in, and plotting against you for the will until your spouse's dying day.
