How Many Months Does It Take To Get A Downward Mod Signed by the Judge in Upstate NY?

thinkthrice's picture

Apparently two months and counting after the final hearing date/decision.
Backstory: The CS "judge" or magistrate is a GOOOOOOD friend of the Girhippo's (BM) as she's a CPS worker and works with this particular magistrate on a daily basis.

He's also retiring and has a young woman protege who will be taking over his duties. She is 1000% golden uterus!

I'm pretty sure though if this was an UPWARD mod, it would have been signed in about two nanoseconds.

Meanwhile, CSEU is harassing Chef's employer daily.

Ahahahaha the court system is a JOKE. Let's put it this way, it took a year and a half for DH to even get the CS order signed off.

ExDF did at least two downward mods during our relationship. (There was one increase as well). All of the changes were effective immediately. Since his order was payroll deducted, it usually took about 3-4 weeks for his employer to receive the information from the court and make the changes.

This kind of bullS is unacceptable. Usually if there is a CS reduction it is for good reason but yet they refuse to sign a freaking order that I feel should have been signed at the end of court when the Judge made the decision. 2 months is unacceptable.
