My kind of holiday!!!
Hope everyone is having a good holiday whether Easter now or Passover yesterday. The skids are w/ BM and fH is up at his grandmother's since we were unable to get a sitter for the dogs. We have 5 dogs and a pet sitter whom we all adore and she was unable to come (bless her!!!!!) so I get to stay home alone!
Still in my pj's at 12:30, watching trashy tv, sipping on lemonade and vodka (don't judge me 
) and doing some light chores before I do my nails and deep condition my hair. MY kind of holiday baby!!!!!

Congratulations! DD just left with her father to go learner's-permit driving and then to his sister's house for dinner...leaving me alone for the rest of the day. Wish I had some gin (no judgements here). I'd toast our good fortune!

There must be some restaurants open that serve alcohol and sell bottles of wine or 6-packs to go! Not exactly gin but will do the trick. Us step-moms gotta be resourceful!!!
BTW - I am sitting here with a mud mask on my face. I look like something out of a horror movie and I just might put (gasp) glitter polish on my toes!!!! (Hands have to be conservative for court. Asking for leniency for a criminal pleading guilty does not really go with green glitter polish on the fingernails!!!) Let's live on the edge, girl!!!! I may even.....turn up the stereo and listen to music that *I* like!!!!!

If I didn't live in a stupid state that you can't buy liquor on Sundays in I'd be joining you with a rum and coke!! Except I drank all the rum in the house not too terribly long ago...no judgment here!! Enjoy your day you've earned it!!

No liquor on Sundays!!!! I am in PA and vividly remember "blue laws" - damn it! I thought they had been done away with long ago and that PA was one of the last holdouts. Do these legislators have no sympathy for step-moms???? Curses upon all those who DARE to deny step-moms the relief they desperately need!!!!
