Wish I didn't care

I just saw another ridiculous quote on SD's xanga site, and here it is:
"kids don't need to buy drugs, they can be a pop star and get them for free."
That's her quote of the day.
So glad that she's learned so much at school. Glad to see that our tax dollars are at work in public education. Personally, I think she was sleeping again.
I think the next thing I'm going to do for myself is get out a calendar and count out how many days are going to be left until the last support payment. I just can't wait to get rid of this noose around my neck. My husband won't even talk about SD now.
Pretty much....she's dead to him. Actually in so many words, he has some really grim comments and opinions of her. They aren't pleasant. But I can only saw she isn't someone either of us want to know. Not the way she is.
I have to find some way to deal with this anger, pain, and frustration for the next 11 months till it's all finished. I don't know yet what I'm going to do for an outlet, but I am hoping that something will come to me as a solution. B/C these thoughts and knowing what my SD is doing and I can't change anything--so I've got to get myself to some kind of mind set to move on to do something positive around here, maybe in the community, so I can at least make a difference somewhere.

You are too funny when you said you were counting down the days til last support payment....is it 11 more months? She turns 18? Before you go crazy, yes do some community stuff or do something for yourself, get a facial, do nails, do hair or whatever it is that makes you happy and occupied. That quote is scary.

Dear Happy Mom,
Thanks for your positive input. I don't know what I'm going to do for myself. I could just literally bang my head against a wall. I can't believe that I had such a kid in my house. AARGH! My husband would absolutely flip if he saw that quote. It's enough for me to go and get a margarita for each hand! I live in a dry county here....you can buy some liquor at the grocery store...but none of the eating establishments here have any liquor licenses. I am seriously about ready to lose my mind here...............Yikes!
C'est la vie! I hesitate to think what stupid thing she will do next as a Senior in high school......frightening, isn't it? Makes you just wonder, and feel giddy with anticipation having such a wonderful kid babysitting your kids, doesn't it?
It's like.......Chuckie's Here.............

Hahahahaha, you crack me up, you must be a fun person to hang out with, I can just see myself laugh at all the stuff you say. Margarita is my favorite drink. Yes go make some for yourself. It is scary when teens get to that high school years, you'll never know what to expect. So much peer pressure. Chuckie movie is a weird one, little scary...little silly. I think his bride was quite a bit more interesting than him, did you watch that one? I think it was called "Chuckie's Bride".
