My List Keeps Growing
Good Afternoon,
I seem to start the mornings fairly early, yet by the time I actually can get underway, the day is half over. I had a pretty productive weekend but I spent a large part of my time, sitting and cutting down brush and twigs. We had a brush area that needed to be cleared out. My husband started on an area and didn't finish what he started and left piles of twigs with thorns scattered around which the dog was stepping on an cutting his feet. Hence, I had to go back and do it all over and pick it up. So, that took me a couple of hours to pick it all up and break them all down. Then I started cleaning up another area and I have two huge contractor bags of yard waste now. I am trying to make like a naturalized area with some hardwoods and naturalized plants such as lilies, irises, ferns, and a few shrubs, with rock shaped stepping stones among cedar mulch. I plan to have my husband build some park benches and have a walking path. And I will have to treasure digging areas for the dogs and then on the outskirts to wading kiddie pools for the dogs in the summer to play. We have made quite a bit of progress but have put in a tremendous amount of hours on this project.
My Mom called over the weekend to see how our puppy Bullet was doing. He is a real handful as he can't get around and we have to carry him. He is getting so big and is now 33 1/2 lbs already. He is almost doubled in size from when we first got him in February. Saturday we drove up to the Ford dealer and drove some of the new F250 trucks; I am trying to figure out finances to see if we can swing the cost of new truck this early this year. My gameplan kind of got shot to hell with the move and the course of events didn't go as planned. It's just that if I could work it out earlier, it would definitely get my husband out of my hair, and that would definitely be an improvement on my life. IMMENSELY. And it would give him something else to think about. My anniversary and birthday are coming up--just around the corner on the 3rd of April. I had a bad day last Wednesday and fell in the shower--took a really bad fall. It was pretty embarrassing but I didn't want to have to go to the Dr.'s and say- I fell in the shower on my head--truly I did. I slipped and my forehead hit the wall, side of tub, the left side of my face hit the tub, my left shoulder and left wrist hit the wall and tub, and then my back hit as well. Also, hit the back of my head on the wall, and tub, and right side of head on tub and wall. I had like little birdies around my head, but I got up anyways because I was alone, and afraid I would just pass out and know one would know. I had three goose eggs on my head, that hurt like an SOB, and thought my face would turn black and blue as well. That lasted till Friday/Saturday but I didn't feel like going to the Dr. and telling her I fell in the shower because I thought she may try and tell me that I was going to have some kind of stroke or something. I could feel it all starting to happen before it did but couldn't control it. I don't know what it was. And I've had these terrible headaches again. But no one here knows or really cares to know. I don't know many people here in the town since we moved here in December.
Not much else going on so I will shower and get the mail. Hopefully I will figure out something about the truck as I'd like to see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Regards,
Sweetie

That sounds painful!
Ouch!! It sounds like you took quite a fall! I hope you are feeling better today!
Your back yard sounds like it will be really nice. We want to do some similar things to our back yard.
We got a new mailbox yesterday. My husband put it up. Our old one was the one that the builder put in. It was pretty flimsy and was starting to look bad.
Good luck with the truck.
