Caught in a Whirlwind
Well, I have been busy unraveling the banking mess I've been trying to get straightened out for a couple of weeks. Finally getting it finished up with apologies from both banks after I have completely pulled my hair out. Now I know why people used to just hid their money under the mattress. Sometimes you need some of the services from a larger bank but you also need the qualities of a small town bank to take care of your business.
We finally are getting the rain and the temperature is dropping down to the 60's. What a surprise. I have more errands to run tomorrow as I had to have the old bank account reopened because my auto insurace payment withdrawal is supposed to post on the 28th and my tax refunds are also supposed to come through next week as well in addition to my husband's payroll on the 5th. We already sent a new direct deposit, but chances are that it may not make the change for payday and then we may not have any money. Not a good thing. This is just too much stress. And my stepson called tonight and he can't come till next weekend as he has strep throat and has been confined to quarters for the last 3 days. So, he should be feeling all better by then.
I just don't have much patience here at home as I keep asking my husband to do the same things time and time again and they aren't getting done. I am tired of asking and annoyed about picking up the same things again and again. It's like there's always an excuse why something isn't done but there always seems to be time to watch TV or play on the playstation. It just hits me the wrong way.
Maybe after getting some sleep and my arm is healing from the spider bites I will be much more agreeable. Sorry that I seem to be so crabby this evening.
Regards,
Sweetie

I'll tell you what I do...
When I get tired of asking my husband to do things or tired of hearing him say he has all of these things to do and no time to do them, I make a list. The list stays on the desk with a pen. When something gets done, it gets crossed off of the list. I think it helps him. Plus, it is so gratifying to cross things off of the list. Don't get me wrong. It still may take awhile to get everything done but at least things don't get forgotten!
