Child support and day care interesting info
So initially when we divorced I allowed ex to pay me directly but this year decided to go through the state. It has been interesting.
So my case is divided into 3 parts, the child support, his portion of the health insurance that I carry on bs10 and his portion of daycare costs.
So daycare will be ending in the end of August and ex knows this. Bs will not need it before and after school. I will next summer sign him up for summer program for 2 days a week to get him out of the house. I know ex will not feel he should pay for any of that and will not be asked to because I do not care to deal with it.
So I find it interesting that I had to contact the state to stop it and if it doesn't work out taking the bus I contract them and they would restart it. To stop it I did not have to submit it in writing or anything like that not do I if we have to restart.
I just felt like there should be paper work because what if I was not honest.
I am also surprised my ex never let them know.

In Michigan, it's handled the
In Michigan, it's handled the same way, in three parts. When my kids needed daycare, I had to prove to FOC that I was using a facility that was licensed AND the facility had to provide proof of enrollment.
I am just as surprised as you are that you can just contact them to make the change :jawdrop:
My DH had to pay extra for
My DH had to pay extra for Daycare for YSS as well. Once he started school, the day care portion stopped. Interesting fact about the day care, DH was paying for a 5 days a week. YSS was only at Day Care three days a week and THEN DH had her BM watching YSS during the day. The only way DH could get it stopped was when BM took him back to court to get more money. He informed the judge he was paying for Daycare that YSS was not attending AND paying extra for health insurance that BM had cancelled (then MSS got injured and needed surgery). Just blasted BM and lowered DH's CS. It wasn't lowered a ton but I considered it a win considering BM was trying to screw him for more.
Me too. I just felt like
Me too. I just felt like there should be a form. The ex and I will both get a letter in the mail and I am assuming his employer will get a notice as well.
I have let bs stay home on
I have let bs stay home on Wednesday with my husband but could not unenroll him from the summer program. I pay the majority of the expense...725.00 and ex contributes 153.00 to it. I refunded him for the Wednesdays voluntarily. For example this Wednesday bs is sleeping over at a buddies. I want my kid to have a normal childhood.
