We are supposed to have the skids tonight, but DF had received tickets to a game (that is tonight) at work for him to use to take out a client. He found a client to take out, so I just figured I'd be home with the skids from around 7 to whenever he gets home. But last night he said, "BM's going to pick up the kids tomorrow night around 7."

I said, "For what?"
He said, "Just because."
I said, "Well, does she have something planned for them at 7?"
He said, "I asked her to, since I'm going to that game, so you can have some alone time and don't have to have the kids here by yourself."

I was a little flabbergasted and said, "But...but...why?"

DF said, "I know that I rely on you a lot. You get the kids ready every morning they're here and I saw the other morning when I was home that it's not easy. You do so much for me and the kids -- you deserve a break. I don't ever want you to start resenting me and feeling like I'm not putting in my part. Plus, we took the kids on Sunday night so BM owes me anyway."

Wow....just, wow! I have the best man ever
