For everyone who has both bios and skids around the same age - who finds skids more annoying when it comes to they way they play and interact in your home?

LOL! I'm sure everyone does at times...I'll try to explain....

Blog Hog But This Just Happened

Myself and SO have sons the same age. They both enjoy the same things and get along well (if BM stays out of it).

Background - earlier this year BM has SOs son lie regarding a particular sport to spite my son. In the end it worked out but that is because I rallied and made it happen but also because my son is very good at this sport and the coaches pushed for him to be on their team.

Double Duty

In our situation we have an ex on both sides, each of us having 50/50 custody.
What I have found is that it seems like we have to do double duty when it comes to instilling discipline as well as morals and values.

Advise on Involvement

In our case BMs nonsense is directed towards me. She has pulled more stunts than I can recount here and as time goes by she continues to up the ante. It is exhausting and causes arguments between myself and SO because I want him to handle it, call her out and basically defend my position.
That doesn't happen. He agrees with me however that is as far as it goes. He chooses to let each instance go and takes the position by saying it isn't worth it.

Just found it skids didn't actually get dropped off at BMs friend while she worked. They were left home alone again. Guess that little lie was just for our pleasure.

So if BM sees nothing wrong with leaving them home alone rather than leaving them with me why lie? Why not just do what you have been doing and stand by it.

Oh well after reading all the responses I need to just let it go. Need to adopt my favorite saying found here...not my monkey not my circus.

Just thought I would put it out there for a better understanding of what we deal with on a daily basis. SO and BM have been divorced for nearly 6 years. She is remarried with step kids as well and treats her a am just as bad as everyone else. Jealousy goes all around in her world.

I am going to try and keep this generic, sorry if it seems I am leaving some personal information out. Unfortunately I have to avoid certain people finding this and our situation is kind of unique making it too easy.

I am a stepmom and biomom. Together we have a Brady bunch of kids. 6+ from Elementary to High School.

Today I just need opinions on a current situation, not like I couldn't fill this site with bullsh*t but have to save some for another day Blum 3
