BM is obsessed with this house... see previous posts.. Came back from vacation last week and found someone's bicycle in our front yard tucked in some large cedars. It still had the helmet, lock, a nice travel bag, but no ID.  Adult SS told dh that he thinks it is somehow BM's but he doesn't know for sure. BM has left random stuff like this before... her old car tires, the trunk of her car... tomato plants... another bike.

20 years and BM still obsessed with this house.

BM has not lived in this house for 20, yes count them 20 years. She only lived a total of maybe a year here, because she refused to move in and stayed back on the other side of the country. They divorced soon after she did move here.....20 YEARS AGO. (Can't curse so I am shouting) By the way, this house is not the Taj Mahal it is just a house.

Skids clothing... I finally see.

My skids were mostly grown and lived with us, never with BM. Clothes exchanges were never an issue. Here  over the years here I have read many times about good clothes going to BM's and dingy clothes keep coming back. And now with the grandskids I finally see it. From reading here I learned to buy good quality used clothing, easy washing, colors the kids like.  Gapkids etc. They come back to visit in dingy clothes. I am going to keep buying them clothes, because their mom could use the help. She works hard. Just a bit exasperated.

We live in the house where the disastrous first marriage, horrifying divorce and where the skids campaign to break up the marriage occurred. Every bit of it has been redecorated and yet I can't but feel the ghosts of those bad times. It doesn't feel like my home. We can sell for a while. Has anyone ever tried Saving their homes or do you have other suggestions? Trying to change my attitude by some ritual. Please help
