Going to visit family

Ok so here is what is going on. I am planning on going up to visit family in my home state in Oct. My 2 sds want to go with me which really don't bother me other than I am worried about. My DH is staying home and the oldest sd will turn 18 a month later. She never wanted to move and has made comments about going back. THan 2 nights ago she asked me if she could spend the night with this guy she has known since she was little. Of coarse my answer was HELL NO. We got in a long convertation about it last night with DH.

Understanding Skids

Ok I have read many times on here how SP don't like there Skids. I understand how everyone feels but I have had a pretty good relationship with SDs just not BM. So the ones that don't like there skids is the reason the kids act this way is cause of the BP. I made it very clear to my SDs from the beginning that I wasn't there mom. I don't want to be and was very open to listening to their fears of me being in their life. Even after the BM still talks shit about me the SDs will stand up for me and call her out on her lies because I did this. Any one else have this happen?

This is just total BS

Ok so I haven't told much of my story and some of it I will keep to myself but I wanted to get this off my chest. Over a month ago we moved to a new state in order to give my SDs new beginning. After everything the BM has put them through and the bad choices they were making we thought this was the best idea. Well after talking with them they thought this was a great idea and they said how they wanted to make changes.

Just don't get it

I don't understand how BMs would choose a man over her kids or how a BM would allow their teen daughters just run off with some guy she doesn't know. Or why she would buy a 12 and 16 yr old ciggs and booze? I find those people to be worthless. How do you get through to a teen that you are only acting in their best interest? Being a SM for 8 yrs has been the hardest job I have ever taken on. It is rewarding but dealing with a BM like mine has been hard. She is a greedy, its all about her, nothing about the kids, meth doing, child molesting b*******.
