Met BM For The First Time

...Boy was it weird.

Mr. Kate doesn't like BM...I'm not making judgments at this point.

I said 'Hi', she said 'Hi' and told me that my front tire was flat, and I said 'Oh. Thanks.'

Uneventful, but kinda weird.

Sounds like it went well, she did not have to tell you about your tire. I know BM in my case wouldn't You might even think of sending a small thank you along with your SD the next pick up. Maybe your SD could pick some very small thing out with you.

Lol, I admit I kinda wanted to check for a slash mark in my tire or something, but I resisted the urge.

Stepkate, I just want to commend you on realizing there are three sides to every story. It is hard to not make critical judgments when someone we love is involved. Hopefully, your great approach to things will bear fruit with a drama-free relationship between you and mom.
