I just took my kids and two family friends to see the Smurf movie. I wish SS13 was there to see it with us, but I think he may have already seen it with BM.

The movie has a message in it about step parents that is rather positive - how they sacrifice for you, choose to take care of you, even though they don't have to, etc.

They also have another interesting spin that all of us Stalkers can relate to - the original parent being an evil person (an evil wizard in the movie, but evil, none the less).

Anyone see it and have any thoughts?

At least it wasnt' the typical evil stepmother scenario.

I kind of picture SS13 sitting in the movie theater watching it and SS13 "getting it" while BM is just oblivious... or even better, maybe she was squirming.

(Sorry, I know this is a silly topic but this is what happens when I'm forced to sit in PG movies with 5 kids).
