More on the exH... I think I may start calling him my crazy BD!
So after putting an end to his text message rants to me last night about how his desires aren't considered, how his "plans" are overlooked (the ones he's made spur of the moment), how he is "feeling" and on and on. I call him this morning around 10 am to let him know I am headed out to get DD12.
It is an hour each way to get her. I've rearranged my day to accommodate his last-minute request from 8 pm last night so that I can fetch DD for him so he can go on his camping trip. He calls me back about 30 minutes later and it seems like he just woke up. I'm thinking that he was out and/or drinking last night as he was so expressive in his texting, which is not like him. He's not usually so wordy, but it could have also been SM writing them for him. Not sure.
Anyway, I let him know where I am, we agree that he will come to my house to get DD12 and DS10 when I get home and I should text/ call when I'm on my way back. DS9 will stay with me, I'll take him to his practice/ scrimmage and SM will pick him up when practice is over.
Then at about 11:30 he texts me and asks if I am "still going to be home at noon". We never mentioned that I'd be home at noon, but I responded that I'd be home in about 40 more minutes but to give us a little extra time so DD can change, etc.
Then comes his GREAT IDEA! He asks if he can also get DS9 when he picks up the others so DS9 can help pack and then SM will return him to me at 2:30. Really? DS9 needs to pack? You don't want to pack for a 9 year old on your own, you want to 9 year old to pack for himself?
I've already rearranged my entire day to accommodate the trip out to get DD12 so that he can now take them camping. I respond that I have errands to run and that I can keep DS9 until his practice at 5:30 or that he can take him when he gets the other kids and he will need to get him to practice at 5:30.
He responds a little while later that we'll just keep it the way it is as SM has job hunting stuff to do. As if I care - seriously!
Does this man not get that I am busy, just like he is? Does he not ever make plans and follow through with them? Does everything have to be last minute?
The only reason that I am able to accomplish so much with my job, the kids, my home, etc is because I plan things out in advance.
I know this is not a huge deal in the scheme of things, but the man is literally on my last nerve.

We let the skids pack their
We let the skids pack their own bags last year or a trip to the cabin. SS15 brought 2 pairs of shorts for 1 week. A straighht A student who wants to drive can't pack a suit case there is no way I would trust a 9 year old. Men just don't get it & I am surrounded by them. If your looking for a positive at least you have an ex who wants to be with his kids. Have some wine, he may be less irritating
That's part of the problem.
That's part of the problem. I'm 37 weeks pregnant. It's hot. I'm irritable. And I can't have a shot of whiskey!
