Attitude II
I'm sick of it! SD10 has been NOTHING but hateful snotty and bitchy the last two weeks. To everyone teachers her dad her sister everyone! DH and I are pretty much getting calls from the school on almost a daily basis. Monday SD10 was in one of her "I'm gonna play dumb and throw a fit and everyone will do for me" snits and DH popped her on the butt and you'd have thought someone ripped her hand off. She literally hit the floor screaming and crying like a toddler DH just stood there and flat out told her "knock this off it's not working" she continued so DH picked her little ass up and put her in her room and shut the door. Then he actually told me "I see WHY you get pissed dealing with this shit" wow really! You've finally started to see the light of HOW SD acts when your not here! NOW he's seeing why I have no patience when it comes to SD and her damn fits.I'm sick of it!

I can recommend a
I can recommend a punishment...I know several people that have done this.
Strip her room of everything. All electronics, makeup, "fancy" clothes, unnecessary hair products (curling iron, Flatt iron, ect.). Leave only her bed, dresser, and desk if she has it. Is it extreme yes, but it proves that dear old dad isnt playing around when it comes to her attitude and your aren't either. They can earn the things back over time. She is about to hit teenage years and it WILL get worse if not addressed soon.
Thought about that! BM isnt
Thought about that! BM isnt in the picture but she already has nothing in her room except her bed and dresser. She got an iPod for her birthday and promptly lost it due to her snits so DH sold it. The funny thing is it was still in the package. (she is in counceling just started with that)
How big is she? Is it
How big is she? Is it hormonal? Studies have shown that kids who are larger are likely to race into puberty early.
Or maybe she is just a 10 yr old Drama Queen. One thing you CAN do is take her for a drive and walk home with her while DH drives home. Wear her out. She can sit there and cry as much as she likes. But walking home will exercise the crap out of her.
