legal question - missing attachments?
I know you guys aren't lawyers but I thought I would ask to see if any of you guys had this issue. I have been going over FDH's divorce with him lately because BM continues to say that something is in there or they have to do something a certain way because of the CO. Which apparently no one has actually read until now.
So my question is, the CO refers in a few places (regarding the kids, parenting and custody) to "See Attachment" but there is no attachment for it.
Furthermore I found 'drafts' of the CO in the filling cabinet - apparently BM wanted to make sure she got it right (the didn't use lawyers - first mistake?). Those document have sections detailing out how holidays will be spent and what they have to agree on and parenting things. But they don't have the court stamp.
It's also worth noting that FDH has kept it in the folder that it was mailing to him in. The attachments aren't there.
We are getting married in the fall so I told FDH it would be a good idea to request a new copy (it's only $20) to see if the new copy comes with the attachments - if it doesn't...
what should we do?
Can BM enforce anything on those 'attachments'?

Yes, whatever the court has
Yes, whatever the court has in it's file is the official order and the only thing that can be enforced.
