I think there should be a movement to BRING BACK SPANKING!! Not beating, mind you, as in beating to death but a few swift reminders of whose in charge would basically right an entire generation as far as I'm concerned.

My son's private school still issues "swats".... Its Christian and "spare the rod spoil the child" motto exists here. Will you sign the slip.....you bet your ass. My older BS was issued "swats" twice. 1 he opted for in lieu of Saturday school.

When we got a little older my dad just to give us a choice. A swat or grounding in your room for the night. I always chose swat and my brother always chose grounding. The he would then proceed to sit in his room all night miserable while I was enjoying myself.
