Humor for the day...

There is a reason that beauty companies make hair products for different races. And last evening I figured out why...

I am taking S to get her hair done today. Braiding lady said to run pink lotion through her hair and let it set. So, FSD, S and myself all did mini make overs last night while the boys went to see transformers. Hair, nails, face masks.

S got the idea that I should use the pink lotion as well. I read the label and it is an intense conditioning lotion. Can't hurt right? Well it didn't 'hurt' but I am STILL trying to wash this crap out of my hair! Six shampoo's later and my hair is greasy enough to qualify as a full time tech at Jiffy Lube!! S and FSD have a permanent case of the giggles due to it.

I am throwing it up in a bun where no one can see it and will deal with the mess tonight. Only plus to this is the girls giggling at my hair is giving them something to bond over. I have not heard an attitude come from either one aimed at the other since it happened!

It may take awhile to make it less oily, get some dry shampoo suave makes it, it is a spray. You put it in your hair and it is a mist but its what you use if you have oily hair so you don't have to wash it as often and hurt your hair. It will probably help a bit if you use if every day because even after you get it out it will probably be more greazy then usual.

Haha! I had something similar happen to me -- My friend highlighted my hair for me at her house and afterwards I took a shower to rinse it. I saw her daughter's conditioner (she's mixed) and figured I'd need the extra conditioning it claimed to have. Yah.

Dawn dish soap was my friend at my next shower Smile

Don't forget SKIN products as well. My bioson gets ASHY so he needs to put lotion on. At 23 years old he sometimes forgets b/c most caucasian males of that age don't think about putting on lotion regularly! LOL!
