Wedding Nightmare
Went to see the movie "Click " with Adam Sandler.
Talk about wedding nightmares. The boy's natural mom remarried but danced with her Ex to their special song.
Can this happen in real life?
I'm sure a child's wedding brings up many hidden feelings.
But.... Can you imagine?

The girls are still young so
The girls are still young so we haven’t crossed those types of bridges yet…it may sound very selfish because well honestly…it is…but a part of me is glad that my husband was never married to the girls moms…that makes it easier for me to a degree and also knowing that he never loved either of them (long story…you can track previous posts to get “caught up”) also is rewarding to me (that is just horrible!) b/c I know that those types of moments, such as dancing to “their song” are VERY UNLIKELY!
Here too
Like Nise, I too will not have to worry about that. My husband and biomom were never married and really didn't date long at all before she got pregnant. Things went downhill from there. They never had "their" song or anything even close to that. They rarely even went anywhere together. They were young and ignorant, not in love.
Dawn
She dumped him
Nise and Dawn,
Wish I was as lucky as you two. I think it is a whole different ballgame when it is the wife who
cheated and fell in love with someone else. A very complicated issue. I think I sometimes pay
for the sins of the first wife...as far as his suspicions or trust issues.
The Ex did cheat
Actually, my husband's ex(girlfriend) did cheat on him and he caught her in the act! Of course they weren't married and he was basically trying to make it work for my stepson's sake. He left her after that. So my husband did have a few trust issues but I am so unlike the ex that I eventually made him see that not every woman was like her.
