We live in canada and i was just wondering if anybody knows that if my dh ex decided she wants spousel support they have been divorced for 3 years can she get it?When we were going to court she never waived her right to it.Also when he retires she gets some of his pension for the amount of time they were married does this sound familiar to anyone? She has a good job and is very unpredictible witch so if she happened to lose it or get laid off can she go after dh?

It depends on the province. In the province I live in, if she has not gone out for spousel support , she would have to make a pretty darn good case after three years to receive spousal support-highly unlikely she would get it (also depending if she is the custodial parent of any children they have).

As for pension-she is entitled AT ANY TIME to half of your husband's pensions-but only for the number of years they were married.

This applies to the province I am in-you could check with your local Family Court office for exact details.
