I went to a counseling session with SD14 today. She was very upset at first because I told her I was going to talk with the therapist about what has been going on in the past week with her getting back with Mr. Dangerous and lying to us about it. She decided to sit out in the waiting room while the therapist and I talked. I guess she didn't want to hear it get rehashed all over again...I don't blame her for that. Anyway, the therapist said we are doing the best we can do in the situation and that she and SD14 would certainly talk about it and discuss the dangers of the situation and how she can avoid getting back into it again. When the session was over, SD14 decided that she might need to start going to sessions once a week for a while instead of every other week. I think that is a good thing. I think that means she is starting to make some progress and is taking things a little more seriously. At least that is my hope. We'll see how it goes. I really like the new therapist she is seeing so far...seems much better than the last two.
