I will be out numbered, MIL and SD and
DH will be there. What am I suppost to
do? I cannot communicate with them. My nerves are shot. MIL thinks every thing
is owed to SD. She is to busy to do anything including find a job..whatever.
Help me please......Just be nice and agree with everything or speak my mind and hope that DH stands beside me? I don't know what to do....I hate her
coming to my home.

I do "fake bitch" with MIL just bc she's so nice to my kid. Otherwise, i can't stand her. I keep waiting for the moment she drops down and starts literally kissing SD's ass since she does it so often figuratively.
Fake bitch face is easy...especially if the end goal is a sigh of relief from DH at the end of the evening...I know it's horrible and I might get flamed for this but while I'm doing FakeBitch I just think to myself, "ok...Barbie you'll get through this interraction. She's 70...how much longer will you actually have to deal with this?" It's evil. But it gets me through.
