Would it be poor form to have them packed already?
Dh bought the skids tickets to spend the summer with mil. June just seems too far away. I am so ready to pack them up, it will make me feel so much better to see their suitcases sitting by the door.
This morning we had some errands to run and while we were at the store they had the people out handing out samples of the food. We got a ton of food...huge portions because there weren't a lot of people at the store. Then we had to swing into the mall to hit up the tea store. We came in through the food court door and everyone (other than me) got 8 pieces of meat being handed out as samples. While at the mall the kids all got ice cream. We got home just after noon and everyone was full. So many samples that even dh declined lunch. OK great.
Dh leaves for work at 2 and he's not gone half an hour when SS and SD come to me and say that they want me to make lunch now. Since I never fed them (very accusatory tone) I tell them that they ate lunch at the store and mall and I wasn't cooking lunch this late in the day. I told them if they were hungry to go make themselves something. I remind them that we have left covers, we have sandwich stuff, cereal, granola bars etc etc.
They both huff off. SD gives up right there and plunks her butt back in front of the tc. SS eats a handful of candy and two pieces of cake.. Two pieces of cake that he dropped on the floor because he wasn't paying attention and then put right back on his plate. Smh.
Now they are fighting and screaming at each other from their bedrooms. I am now trapped in the house with my two kids the rest of the day cause I refuse to take the skids in public by myself.

Same for me. Its easier for me to take bs3 and the baby than the skids. I can be out running errands and dong whatever all day with my kids and not feel encumbered at all. Add the skids and its so difficult to get anything done.
The constant fighting, constant asking for stuff, being slow as molasses, constant questions of where e we are going are we going here are we going there why are we doing this or that. Just asking them o pit of their shoes and get in the car is a ten minute process minimum.

Right now they care throwing water into each others rooms, slamming doors and screaming at each other.... I don't even want to get up and deal with this shit...
