Its nice when the universe takes care of a problem for you :)
The old laundry issue. Ss11 hasn't brought clothes to be washed in two weeks. Skipped last weekend entirely....and onl brought his two weeks worth of dirty clothes to the laundry room at bed time last night. Sux for him because I don't do laundry during the week. So its going to sit.
Even more sucking for him....I am going out of town with my boys this weekend, so I'm not doing laundry this coming weekend either. So dh HAS to deal with it. Thanks to labor day SS has one clean uniform shirt left for today....no idea what his plan is for tomorrow. And dh won't notice his clothes sitting in the laundry room.....so SS is going to have to physically tell dh he's out of clothes and ask him to do his laundry. And dh will have to do it....since he cant just wait it out until Friday when I start doing laundry again, as I will be gone on Thursday. I don't have to do or say anything....the situation will be resolved by the time I return.
So dh gets to see how nasty his clothes are. How frustrating g it is to get two-three loads of laundry from him at once and have him expect it washed dried and folded and back to him in an hour. Two weeks ago when I did his laundry, he threw it all on the floor. Just dumped that basket onto his closet floor and has been picking out of the wrinkled pile. Too lazy to even put it away....too lazy to take 2 minutes to bring me his clothes on Friday or Saturday so I have time to get it done on my days off. Or even on Sunday by early afternoon so I can get it done....but nope....he will drop it off at bedtime on Sunday. As if I am going to stay up until midnight to wash and dry clothes for his lazy ass.
He's dh's problem now. And I didn't have to say a word.

This is nothing compared to
This is nothing compared to last spring when SD lived with us and they would bother do this. Bedtime Sunday night they'd each dump two weeks worth of clothes in the laundry room.....5 loads of old smelly stained up laundry....and they'd be pissy that it went done when they woke up on Monday.
He did that massive load of laundry once. Then he got good about reminding them to bring me their laundry. But he's completely forgotten how lazy his kid is since he's returned from the summer away. Never looks in his room to see how messy it is, how much dirty clothes is piling up etc. So he will be in for a big big surprise when SS tells him he's out of school uniforms and he sees that massive pile of clothes waiting for him. Garbage in the pockets, belts still attached to the shorts, socks in a ball, stains set in.
Have fun!!
hahaha! stupid asshole. i
hahaha! stupid asshole. i wonder if it would have been important enough to get a new one if had been you who got sick, or if he would have blamed the illness on something else.
I do laundry on Saturdays or
I do laundry on Saturdays or Sundays. I always just tell my BS15, "Sort your laundry." He sorts it on the floor in the hallway & I kick it down the stairs to the laundry room. I never did SSs laundry. He had to do his own. SD13 doesn't dirty much stuff when she comes over so she tosses her few things in my laundry basket. BS15 every now and then needs to wash his football gear during the week and I taught him how to use the machines and do it himself. I'd be so furious if I had to deal with what you deal with. Good for you for letting DH handle it.
My DH asked Sunday to check
My DH asked Sunday to check the skids bag of clothes going back to Swamps house. I said, I haven't done laundry for a year, haven't packed for a year and I'm not going to start again. Their bags are their business.
This was DH's response :jawdrop:
