BM was arrested about a month ago and has been in jail since. This is actually a good thing since she is pregnant and at least has to stay sober in there (I feel so incredibly sorry for this baby). Anyway, her court date is today and she might be getting out of jail. My dread is that we are supposed to have dinner for FSS6's 1/2 sister tomorrow night, and if BM gets out she might show up to her daughters birthday dinner. I have my doubts that she remembers when her children's birthdays are but she might. It is awkward enough for me to be at dinner's with SO's exwife's family BUT they are nice enough people and have the mind set that you don't divorce children, which I agree wholeheartedly with. They have pretty much disowned BM and BM's sister is the one raising her other daughter.

I would just not go but I don't want to make FSS's sister feel like I didn't want to see her, she is a good kid and comes over and stays some weekends. She really is a sweet heart and we have a good relationship with her and her aunt. I just have no desire to see skanky, druggy, nasty BM.... I know I am stuck and have to suck it up and be the bigger person, I just don't really want to play nice.
