Why God hates divorce...

Ok so the funny in me-(AND yes I am religious also) was thinking, maybe the reason God taught against divorce PARTICULARLY to men in the Bible....was because he knew what stepHELL meant lol?

I mean I think it IS damaging regardless to seperate a union that is supposed to be for life-but it's more the AFTER effect and STEPHELL that comes later that is the bigger issue it seems?

As in...dude you leave your first wife, she will be bitter and make your next life hell....was he trying to watch out for us step-parents/for step-children also? For the crazy dynamics that come with remarriage and bitter ex's? For guilty daddys and kids raised with no morals???

Things that make me go hmmmm.......

I actually believe there is some truth to that. God doesn't WANT us to get divorced, because ultimately divorce is the result of SOME sort of sin. Right? Whether it was husband or wife, or BOTH... somewhere in there SOMEONE sinned. Anger, greed, lust SOMETHING happened. And God knows that the "wages of sin is death"... and sometimes, this feels like death and the 7th circle of hell!!
