So...we got Rock Band for PS3 last weekend, and SS loves it. He goes on and on to BM about how great it is and how we all play together. She thinks it's awesome apparently. BM and BF have come up with this idea to record SS playing the songs of his favorite band on the game so they can send it to the band and the fan club and stuff. I asked BF, did you ask her about the videotapes from Disney in January that BM was supposed to copy for us and never did? He said that she'd be dropping off all of the equipment so that we could do that ourselves since she didn't have the time. I'm thinking, wait a minute...BF owns his own company, I own my own company, work for BF, and work at the doctor's office...BM is unemployed and dropped out of college for the semester...and she thinks we have more time than her to do this? HAHA

Anyway, then he said that she asked about the photos that we had taken in Disney and if she could get copies of them. I told him that I didn't want to pay $50 to get her printouts but I would send her an invitation to view the Shutterfly album if that was OK with her. It was a third-party mailer that went straight from Shutterfly to her, not from me...

Well apparently I opened up a line of communication because she started emailing me thanking me for the pictures and asking if I wanted her to send me pictures from the concert that she went to. Ok, sure. Then she sends me these links to videos on the internet of the concert as well. I guess she figured out that I'm a huge fan of the band that she went to see and she just wanted to share these things with me. But she started to comment on some of the videos and how much she loved them...it was all just kinda weird to me. I mean, if I had known that I was opening a floodgate, I would have just printed the damn pictures LOL

In a way it was nice because she was civil and friendly...but at the same time, we still have the RO between us and that just made it all feel wrong and weird.

In other news, we helped SS pick out presents for BM for Valentine's Day, her birthday, and Mother's Day. BF is notorious for NOT getting BM presents for ANYTHING so I thought it was cute that they got it all caught up in one swoop.

SS went to the doctor today (instead of school). Why she couldn't have taken him all of last week when he wasn't in school is beyond me, but we'll see what the doctor says about how (un)sick SS is. BM will probably tell us that SS has this massively horrible thing wrong with him as always though all he has is a cough and the sniffles.
