Skid#2, made it 7 days ungrounded. After my hand made contact with his lips he finally shut up. Long enough to hear that he was regrounded and me dial his fathers cell phone number to inform him.

PS: I do not think requiring him to remove the MOLDY,SLIMEY,1ST PLACE COMPETITOR IN A SCIENCE FAIR dishes that he hid under his bed, and making him WASH them (I was sooooo not touching them) makes me an obsessive complusive neat freak!!

Nope, didn't bother FIL. Skid went on a rant in the last five minutes, wanting to call CPS, I picked up the phone, dialed it and told him to hit send, that their taking HIM away would give me a needed vacation. He got pissed, slammed the door to his room. Per DH the door is gone when he gets home in about an hour. I think it is high time this skid was scared of the parents in the house, not the visiting paw-paw.

Good! I would have done the exact same thing. They come to me for EVERYTHING but yet they think they can run their mouths with me and be disrespectful. Hell No! I've given threats of being this close to smacking them across the mouth. Usually gets them to shut up right away but sometimes SS13 pushes it. I've already forwarned my FH of one day smacking SS13.

Good for you! I haven't ever slapped my kids, but funny thing when they threaten to call CPS I tell them I'll dial the number for them so that they can go away! lol -- usually shuts them up! They think I'm scared of CPS!? Sheesh -- I live with them! lol
