This is weird !! Calling BF work looking for BM

:? So we live in a smallish town. Everyone knows everyone kinda place. BF had to have a work truck serviced. He handles all that kind of stuff. He had a truck dropped off same as always. Few minutes later the secretary comes out and hands him a message from the place he just dropped off the vehicle. He figures it is billing related. They always call and see if he wants the invoice mailed. So he hands it to the accounting clerk. Everyone is in the same office no big deal. Well accounting clerk comes out to BF and says they need to talk to you. They need to talk to him about BM :?

It is a service department at the local Chevy place so it's weird that they would call his work to ask him about BM. He didn't call back he said anything to do with BM was not his business. I am just curious about what it could possibly be. I hope it's not about money or a bill or something like that }:)

Someone called MY PARENT'S home one time asking for my husbands crazy ex-wife! And then asking about HER HUSBAND! When I called back, they told me he was WANTED for a 3rd Degree Felony related to a Financial SCAM...hmmm...not sure what ever happened. I gave them ALL the information we had...

Newstep - if it's like the small town I grew up in, it could just be that she owes something, they want to update the records or whatever. My best buddy - we'll call him "mike" - and I grew up together. Currently he works with a construction type place. My cousin "jon" was with a girl "andi" and they had a kid. Jon and Andi aren't together anymore and havent' been for years. Mike needed to get in touch with Andi regarding a job she and her new husband were trying to get done (needing an estimate). LOL following? So they had seen Mike's ex -gf out at a restaurant and asked if she ran in to Mike, would she ask him to call them. Mike didn't have their number so - it went like this:

Andi and new DH saw egf of Mike and asked to be called.
egf of Mike told Mike to call Andi.
Mike didn't know Andi's # or her new address.
He DID however know that she had a kid with my cousin, Jon.
Mike asked his secretary to call me and ask if I had Jon's number.
His Secretary calls me adn tells em why - I give her Jon's office number.
LOLOL.

Jon gets this message:

Mr. Jon - Secretary of ABC Construction company is calling re: your son's mother. Please call back 555-5555.

HAHAAHAHH, later he goes onto facebook with WTF??? Mike? WTH? Huh? lol.

Turns out it was along those lines the lady at the office needed to get ahold of BM knew she was BF's ex so called him :O She apologized to him and said she knew they weren't together but needed to get BM's number so he gave it to her.

lol. small towns. gotta love'm. People STILL call me by my first and last name there - as there were several kids with my first name. So we were all called stuff like:

JackRussell McMillian
Jackrussell Smith
Jackrussell Terrier
jack-smith-the-other-one
