BM and health Insurance What did you guys do?
Ok I would like to know what the rest of you all have about this issue, Ok bm has kids on some type of medicaid, dh and i had been trying to put the boys on his insurance for a while but becaue they were older children a birth certificate was needed to add them...The kids that dh and I have together were no problem because they were put on at birth... I know we could go to the health and human service office to get one, but the kids only come over EOW thats it! No breaks, or summers or anything, so we really never needed it ...plus our work scheduales wont allow unless we take off a day.
Anyway child support out of the blue does it, which is ok no biggie because dh already pays for a family plan anyway so its no extra. We got a letter notifying us that they have sent insurance cards to bm.... I was a bit upset, because last time again she had kids on medicaid, and she did have dh insurance cards from previous job ...she delibrately went to drs office and hospitals not telling them she had a primary (dh insurance) and a secondary (medicaid)insurance..
She racked up all these bills on purpose and gave husbands name and address to send ALL the bills! I called all the billing people at these locations and had them to resubmit the bills to her and her address and told them whoever brings them is responsible for that visit and also told them that they needed to file to her secondary insurance which would take care of EVERYTHING that remained from primary insurance.
So i called insurance this morning and put a password on our account so she will not be able to call to change/add ANYTHING on our policy or find out any of our information or drs information because she has both me and my dhs name, address, date of birth, dhs social security number, and still has our last name even though she has remarried and never owned any property, or loans, or nothing so why not change your name????

Skids are covered by SO.
Skids are covered by SO. However, he had the really good expensive policy on them and BM didn't take them for checkups for anything.
SO then went to the cheaper high deductible health insurance. She hasn't even noticed and its been a year.
