I wish you were my mom

SS10 told me that sometimes he wishes I was his mom. I can't believe he even feels that way considering all the attitude he throws my way. I told him not to say that to BM because it would hurt her feelings and being a mom is a hard job and I'm positive she loves him a lot. And she just wants the best for him even when he is punished it is out of love.

I find it kind of funny that her PAS is having a reverse affect. I have to admit I felt some happiness inside when he said that to me. Because I thought he hated my guts.

Thanks Smile I try hard to be a good mom and SM and its nice to know that I'm doing it right sometimes. I think mabey BM should take a page out of my book and listen to her kid instead of yelling and cursing all the time and trying to control his every step. Sometimes a kid just needs to be a kid. I'm not trying to say she is a bad mother I'm just saying she could try to back off a bit and it might help her relationship with her son. But i'm sure she would rather eat glass than listen to anything I have to say.
