DH was in the shower getting ready to take SD to her counselor this morning and SD yelled in to him that BM canceled the appointment. He was shocked so he said that he would call her when he got out. He called and BM said that since SD was happier now that she moved back in with her ExH that she didn't feel that SD needed to go anymore.

Well DH asked if she really had canceled the appointment and she said no so he told her he was still taking SD. He told her that while SD may be happier now, what happens when BM's ExH turns into a dick again and BM moves SD right back out again? BM argued that would NOT happen because her and ExH were in counseling and they had never been happier blah blah blah. DH feels that the only reason BM didn't want to go was because she knew that the councelor would give her shit for moving SD, yet again. BM said she couldn't get a babysitter so she wasn't going to go if DH took SD. Imagine that!

SD said she still wanted to go so DH took her. DH said the counselor looked like she pooped her pants when SD told her that they had moved back in with BM's ExH and that they were all just soooo happy now. The counselor asked SD the same thing that we had, how would she feel if she had to move back out again. SD did the same thing that she did when we asked, she shut down. Afterward the counselor talked to DH alone and told him that even if BM didn't want SD to go, that he should bring her in on his own time so that SD was still established with her in case something did happen and she had to move out again. She told DH that the only thing we can do is to keep doing what we are doing by giving SDa structured environment that is stable.

DH scheduled SD next appointment and said he would tell BM when it is and if she shows up, then she does and if she doesn't, oh well. It is nice to know that we really aren't the crazy ones, even though to this day BM is saying that all of SD's problems are our fault and she is just the GREATEST mom EVER!
