So DH totally dropped the ball on my bday. He knew I was very upset about it so he planned for us to get away for the weekend. He told me to go get a massage today and he would gather the kids and meet me at MILs where we would leave them and spend the weekend at the lake.

I've been having back problems lately so the massage was nice. He stopped and got a cake,and took the skids to buy me gifts. SS17 got me a new fishing pole and SD14 picked out shoes to wear on the boat and DH bought me a necklace. We rented a nice suite with a whirlpool tub and we're getting ready to put the boat in the water. I think it will be a nice weekend
