BM STILL tries to text DH, after he asks not her to. This goes back and forth, she texts and he asks her to stop, so he sends her an email for documentation saying what he's already told her, that calls/texts to his cell will no longer be accepted, to either call the phone at the house or his work phone. That was two days ago. No texts so we assume she got it. Well tonight as I'm dragging my tired butt through the door after a hard day at work, what do I get but three texts in a row from BM! "DO NOT CALL/TEXT/EMAIL ME AGAIN! YOU MAY CONTROL YOUR HUSBAND BUT YOU DON'T CONTROL ME! STOP TEXTING/EMAILING ME AND MY HUSBAND." I stand there stunned. Then I say "DH, HANDLE IT." So he calls her, "why are you texting MARLA? I sent that email because you kept texting me." She doesn't believe him. Then she pulls out all crazy "reasons" why he's a "part time dad." After 45 min of her ranting, I say "DH, I will blow you right now if you get off the phone." DH: "OK, BM, gotta go BYE!" Yeah so what if I "control" my DH? Biggrin

I love it!!!! I wouldn't call that control I would call it your husband is one lucky guy and now BM knows it - lololol Wink Wink Wink

When I was trying to get pregnant I was keeping track of my ovulating and one night I was ready to go and DH was on the phone with BM (with her crying on his shoulder about how hard her single life was and how she was tired because after 12 years she finally had to work again) and I was getting so f___ing mad so I marched to the office pulled the phone out of his hand and said "Sorry BM but I need to hang up now - we have to go right now and make our baby - bye" and I hung up the phone - DH was mad I did not give a shit I wanted a baby - got pregnant that night. PS. BM stopped calling so late at night after that!!! }:) }:)

Caregiver, he obviously wasn't TOO upset because he helped with the baby making! Lol! Even if I'm not in the mood, I'll gladly offer it up to get him off the phone with HER! I said it before and I'll say it again... If ANYONE is going to control my husband it's going to be ME!

The next time you or your DH get a text from her, respond back with:

"The customer you are trying to reach does not subscribe to this service.
Thank you for using AT&T" (or whoever your carrier is).

You may have to send it a few times for her to stop, but it works like a charm! Wink

jesses girl I was actually thinking about doing that after I received those texts last night! I just didn't know how to word it, so thank you, I can use it next time!

I wonder if you intended BM to hear it, or just DH so he can hang up the phone. I would try this because in the occasional convo that BM and DH discuss something, she always ends up CRYING, and it takes her 10 minutes to say something she could have easily said in 20 seconds... because she does not know how to get to the point. Last time that happened was for tax purposes last year, so next time they have a long convo that pisses me off, I will try this.

The bad part is that DH gets SO SO SO MAD when he talks with her for a long time, that he is almost throwing shit around, cursing, etc...
